Introduction
East Greenwich is proud to participate in an important statewide initiative aimed at strengthening access to health services in rural communities like ours. Thanks to our designation as one of Rhode Island’s rural municipalities, the Town has received nearly half a million dollars in federal funding through a program designed to address local health service challenges—all with no financial burden on our local taxpayers. As stewards of these resources, we are committed to developing a community-driven, multi-year plan that reflects the priorities and needs of our residents.This effort begins with listening. Over the coming months, we will engage with residents, local organizations, and key partners to better understand what matters most when it comes to improving health care access in our Town. Your input is essential, as it will directly influence how these federal resources are allocated and implemented in the years to come.
