Eldredge Park Renovation

In the heart of East Greenwich resides Eldredge Park, a time-honored setting that has been the backdrop for countless community gatherings, outdoor activities, and cherished memories. Recognizing that this thriving public space holds even more potential for enrichment, the town has embarked on an ambitious journey to revamp and expand park facilities, ensuring they are accessible to all residents, irrespective of abilities. Showcasing our commitment to inclusivity and enhancement, a generous grant of $400,000 from the 2022 Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) Recreation Development Grant Program has set the stage for transformative improvements that aim to revolutionalize our beloved park.

We understand that Eldredge Park is an embodiment of the community spirit and the invaluable contribution from residents is paramount in the park’s evolution. Therefore, we invite all East Greenwich residents to actively participate in this process, allowing the vision of a modernized and more inclusive park to be driven by the very community it serves. Your ideas and suggestions will directly influence decision-making in this significant redevelopment project, shaping the future of a park that has while fostering a continued sense of ownership and pride.
