Churchfield Meadows Access
We’re very grateful to everyone who shared their thoughts in our recent survey about dog access at Churchfields Meadow, Weybridge. Your feedback really matters to us, and we wanted to update you on what’s next for this much-loved space.
After reviewing all responses, we’ve decided to keep the meadow a dog-free zone for now. We know this may be disappointing for some dog walkers, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Please rest assured that there are no plans to restrict dog access to the wider Churchfields recreation ground, so you can continue enjoying walks there and across our many beautiful open spaces in the borough.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to make the meadow even more welcoming and biodiverse. Here’s what we’re planning for the 2026–2027 financial year:
- picnic benches for relaxing and enjoying the view
- wildlife signage to help residents identify plants and animals
- bug hotels to encourage biodiversity
- continued care and management of the meadow as a natural space
We hope these improvements will make your visits even more enjoyable. Thank you for helping us shape the future of Churchfields Meadow.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
