Based on an analysis of data and resources, a report was published prompting a review of community support services in Elmbridge. Elmbridge Borough Council determined to relook at support to make services financially sustainable, and to help more people across the borough.

Operational focus put this work on hold.
Initial survey
October 2024 - December 2024
Plans were announced to re-start this work. The initial survey asked clients and residents to give us views which we would consider as part of reimagining community support in Elmbridge.
Community listening events launched, providing multiple ways for people to give us their views
January 2025 - 2nd March 2025
Local charities, community groups workshops gather information on the support on offer and who is not being supported. Community Support Services client listening events were held to hear feedback and ideas face-to-face and discuss how we can help more people (This began the week commencing 20 January 2025).
Resident listening events were also held to understand what support is needed in the community (February 2025). Follow up survey opens for all on 20 January to capture views and ideas on community support in Elmbridge.
