Downtown Bellbrook DORA

Exciting changes are brewing in the heart of Bellbrook! As we continue our efforts to enhance our downtown vitality, the City is exploring a unique way to bring the community together, bolster local businesses, and create a vibrant space where neighbors and visitors alike can sip, stroll, and celebrate responsibly.

Introduction

The City of Bellbrook is exploring an exciting opportunity to enhance our historic downtown through the creation of a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA). By establishing this carefully planned district, adults aged 21 and older would be able to purchase alcoholic beverages from participating businesses and enjoy them outdoors within clearly defined boundaries. This initiative is part of a broader effort to breathe new life into our downtown, bolster support for local businesses, encourage vibrant public events, and create a more welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. As we consider implementing this program, your insights and feedback are essential in shaping its future. Our goal is to ensure that this initiative aligns with the community's vision while fostering economic growth and cultural vibrancy downtown. Whether you're a resident, business owner, or simply someone who cares about Bellbrook's future, we invite you to share your perspectives. Together, we can create a space that strengthens our city's sense of place and community pride.
