Segment 2 Reconstruction Is Underway

On Wednesday, April 9, construction on Segment 2 of the 32nd Avenue South Reconstruction Project will begin. Segment 2 extends from west of 22nd Street South to east of 15th Street South and will be constructed in three phases.

Work will begin with the closure Phase 1, which includes the area from west of 15th Street South to east of 17th Street South. This phase will be closed off with a posted detour route for eastbound traffic along 35th Avenue South and westbound traffic along 27th Avenue South.

Motorists should expect delays, reduced lanes, and shifting traffic patterns. Construction signage will be posted to guide drivers safely through the work zone.

All businesses will remain accessible, and pedestrian access will be maintained on at least one side of the street throughout the project.
