3rd Street North & 8th Avenue North (BR-26-E1)

The purpose of this project is to improve the aging infrastuture of 3rd Street North as part of the overall City of Fargo improvement efforts

Project Location
3rd Street North from 7th Avenue to 9th Avenue and 8th Avenue North from 2nd Street to 4th Street

Full roadway reconstruction inclucing

• Water main replacement
• Water service replacement (to curb stop valve)
• Sanitary sewer main replacement
• Sanitary sewer service replacement (to behind the curb)
• New storm sewer inlets and leads
• Driveway approaches (up to sidewalk)
• Sidewalk replacement
• Asphalt pavement

Some properties within the project area may be subject to special assessments to help fund the improvements. If you’re a property owner and would like to check whether your parcel is affected, you have two options:

Note: Estimated special assessment costs will be posted as the project gets closer to starting. These amounts stay on your property as estimates throughout the project and won’t become final until the work is completed.
