Asphalt Wear Course Project (PN-25-A1)

Overview:

• This project aims to apply the final layer of asphalt on the streets. This will ensure the street section reaches its designed thickness and corrects any deficiencies that have developed over time.

• Adding an asphalt wear course will improve the quality of the road, providing a smoother ride and better drainage.

• As part of this project, the contractor will be responsible for...
  1. Mud-jack and repair the curb as needed to address drainage issues, only replacing the sections that require attention.
  2. Repair sections of damaged pavement.
  3. Replace sections of sidewalk that require repair to meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards.

Impacts:

• Traffic will continue during construction; however, some lanes may close temporarily, and parking could be reduced for the work being done.

• Certain sidewalks will be closed at times to facilitate construction work.
