Main Avenue Reconstruction (University to 25th St)

March 2026 Update

Final design and Right of Way acquisition has been completed, and the project went out for bid in February 2026. Due to not receiving an acceptable bid the project is being evaluated and will re-bid in the fall of 2026 with anticipated construction to begin in the spring of 2027.

SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS

Some properties within the project area may be subject to special assessments to help fund the improvements. If you’re a property owner and would like to check whether your parcel is affected, you have two options:

• Visit Fargo Parcels directly.
• Or, click on a parcel in the interactive map below, then select the “Fargo Parcels” button to be taken to the corresponding property page.

Note: Estimated special assessment costs will be posted as the project gets closer to starting. These amounts stay on your property as estimates throughout the project and won’t become final until the work is completed.

• Search by your address or parcel number
• View your assessment history
• See estimated special assessment costs related to this project (if applicable)
