Urban Land Institute Recommendations for a New City Hall
Reimagining City Hall
In November of 2023, the Southeast Florida/Caribbean Urban Land Institute (ULI) informed the City that it was selected for pro bono work related to a new City Hall thorugh the ULI Leadership Program. This program connects those enrolled in the Leadership Institute Program with organizations who could use their expertise to provide solutions to tangible land use and real estate challenges. This group has worked with City staff, attended meetings for Reimagining City Hall, and met with stakeholders including elected officials.
On July 2, 2024, the ULI team will present their findings and recommendations, including where the new City Hall should be located, what services should be located in the new City Hall, how the structure can be designed to include public meeting/event space, and how the project can be funded.
Information about the recommendations is available here and will be presented to the City Commission on Tuesday, July 2, at 1:30 pm.
A live streaming of the meeting will be available; click the video below for more information.
