Major Project Updates

Below is a listing of major projects that are currently underway in support of the Strategic Plan and annual Commission Priorities.

• Police Headquarters
  This project is for the replacement of the Police Headquarters. The new facility will feature training rooms, public meeting areas, and community space as well as workspace and state-of-the-art technology for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
• LPR Technology
  Automatic license plate reader (LPR) technology is being implemented throughout the City to detect, identify, and recover stolen vehicles, wanted persons, and missing or endangered persons.
