Redevelopment Project
In a significant move toward growth and better public services, the democracy-driven town of Georgetown has approved a pivotal financial referendum. This decision greenlights an extensive redevelopment project, financed by up to $18 million, to construct a new police station and public works building. The citizen-led decision came as a result of 353 residents responsibly exercising their right to vote, with a majority of 52% favoring the initiative.
Your direct involvement shapes our community - true testament to this was the recent referendum approval that brought us a step closer to realizing a major infrastructural enhancement in Georgetown. Governed by the collective will of 183 voices propagated towards progress, we are spearheading the transformative 'Redevelopment Project'. We aim, through this initiative, to not only uplift physical structures but also to positively impact the quality and efficiency of our public services. This, in turn, will fortify the economic and social fabric of our cherished hometown.
