Downtown Development District Update
Help Shape the Future of Georgetown鈥檚 Downtown!
The Town of Georgetown is excited to begin updating the plan for its Downtown Development District (DDD), which is first step in applying to the State to renew and redesignate the Town's District. This plan provides the Town with goals and strategies for enhancing the Downtown area by encouraging new development, supporting new and existing businesses, and improving public spaces. The DDD provides financial and other incentives to property owners, businesses and developers to invest in the Downtown. Incentives are available from the State of Delaware, Sussex County, and the Town of Georgetown.
The Town has selected the firm Wallace, Montgomery and Associates to assist with updating the Plan.

Review the Draft Plan Update and Maps!
