A big thank you to those that have already replied to the surveys on our consultation - whether that is here online or by returning our freepost leaflet. Your comments are really valuable to us and will help shape the framework to make sure it considers the needs and aspirations of the local community.

This week we held our first online event which was well attended. Please feel free to sign up to our next one on 12 November at 10am . You can register here on this link. If you can't make it - we are holding other events on Saturday 21 November and Tuesday 24 November. Apologies our events are online only - due to the current circumstances we are not able to meet face to face.

This week we discussed our themes with the community and local people raised the following:

The importance of creating a local identity.

Promoting community ownership of space - particularly for those areas that feel neglected or unsafe.

Connecting neighbourhoods with better cycling and walking routes.
