Good news!

The temporary modular skate park has arrived and is now ready for community use.

To provide skating opportunities while maintenance continues at the main skate park, the Parks Service Unit has installed a temporary modular skate park at the east end of the Recreation Centre parking lot. This space is now open and available for use.

The modular park helps ensure skaters can continue to stay active while contractors complete ongoing maintenance work at the permanent skate park. Maintenance is expected to continue for approximately six weeks, weather permitting.

Updates on the partial reopening of the main skate park will be shared as work progresses.
