F-48 Project Newton to Cherry Creek Bridge Update

Inlet reconstruction, curb and sidewalk repairs, pavement patching, and asphalt level binder are complete along F-48 W between Newton, Thomas Jefferson Drive, and the Cherry Creek bridge. Major items of work that remain are placement of the interlayer asphalt, the asphalt surface layer, and pavement marking. Please note, the asphalt surface layer will be placed full width, curb to curb, hence this section of F-48 will be impassable for part or most of a day. Goal will be to provide 48 hours notice to affected property owners and businesses prior to this surface asphalt placement. Expect all of these remaining major items of work to be completed by May 31st weather permitting.
