North Area Hangar Development

Design and Bidding Services to prepare site for future hangar infrastructure development - Phase I. A Request for Proposal will be distributed seeking parties interested in private hangar development for this site. Included in Phase I of the initial Hangar Area site development project are the following tasks:

• Schematic Design phase (30%) intended to identify and evaluate alternatives to provide cost-effective and practical solutions for the potential development of up to 31 individual hangars. Survey and geotechnical investigation, preliminary construction estimates, design concepts, 30% design drawings illustrating preliminary horizontal geometric layouts, grading limits, and marking plans in preparation for FAA, ADOT, and City review, utility drawings (30%) and utility design for up to four taxilanes, develop draft construction phasing and operations plan, are all included in the Schematic Design phase.
• Final Design Phase (100%): To provide City with a complete set of Contract Documents, including Final Plans, Specifications, Engineer's Design Report of site development and opinion of estimated construction costs for the potential development of the first phase of hangar construction of up to nine potential hangars.

Construction for Phase I site development utilities scheduled to begin as early as June/July 2026
Request for Proposals seeking parties interested in private hangar development on the Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport are scheduled for distribution in July 2026
