January 2024 Project Update

City staff will be interviewing representatives from candidate firms that submitted statements of qualifications to provide engineering design and environmental permitting services for the project. These interviews are anticipated to be completed by the end of January 2024, with design work commencing shortly afterwards.

Construction for this Main Street Roundabout project is anticipated in mid- to late-2025, and a schedule has not been finalized.

As a reminder:

There are multiple construction project, both City and private development, planned to take place in and immediately around Main Street during 2024 and 2025. In particular, there is another City Main Street Improvement Project upcoming to construct roadway improvements for the length of Main Street south of this intersection. That Main Street Improvements Project is scheduled for construction in 2024!
