Overdose & Prevention Town Hall

On June 8, 2023, the City in partnership with the Lake Stevens School District held the Overdose & Prevention Town Hall. During the event expert panelists shared their expertise on the opioid crisis by sharing heartbreaking stories and experinces, and opportunites and places to help people recovering. Panelist then answered questiongs from the audiece. We also had a great turnout of supportive regional community organizations provided supportive resources for interested attendees. This event is one small step to educating people on the opioid and fentanyl crisis and how we, together, can help make a difference.
