Lake Stevens WA
2025 and Future Pavement Preservation

2025 and Future Pavement Preservation

The City will be performing a grind and overlay on selected roadways. Other improvements include compliant American with Disabilities Act (ADA) curb ramps and striping improvements as required, based on the impacted areas.

The project also includes some full-depth spot repairs, utility adjustments, and replacing existing roadway markings,. The 2025 project locations are:
Site 1: Pave and Overlay at North Lakeshore Drive/Vernon Road from Mitchell Road to the Callow Road roundabout.
Site: 2: ADA Improvements at 99th SE and Market Place
Site 3: City wide Striping
Site 4: Striping at North Cove, Lundeen, and Davies Parks

The approximate locations for pavement preservation are shown below, along with future years through 2030. The below map is based off pavement condition, daily traffic, and proximity to TBP projects. By consolidating overlay locations and TBP projects, the city can stretch our tax dollars further, and construct additional improvements. This map may change based off emergent conditions, resident feedback, and changing priorities.

Additionally, the city will crack seal other locations. Cracksealing will improve the life of the pavement by 5-7 years, and will be performed on a yearly basis.
