During January and February, the BCRA consultant team will be working in both the upland and lower park areas to complete surveying and environmental conditions mapping.
On January 26, the geotechnical engineering consultant will be completing a series of test pit excavations with a backhoe to evaluate park soil conditions for the future improvements. The test pits will be backfilled with the excavated soil and compacted, but still may be soft and wet. Please don't walk on them.
Also during January and February, surveyors will be on-site to complete mapping of the existing park, in order to prepare preliminary plans for the new improvements. This will also include updated mapping of the stream and wetland in the lower, forested area of the park.
