North Cove Marina

The North Cove Marina and Marine Unit Relocation project will replace the existing motorized boat day use moorage area. This will increase the capacity of public day use boat slips. The police and fire boats will be moved to this location as well.

The North Cove Marina was installed in the 1990s to provide a boarding float and public day use moorage. Over time the dock is reaching the end of its useful life, and a new marina will expand use and provide environmental benefits by using light transparent decking.

At the same time, as a separate project, the First Responders' dock will be relocated to this location. The First Responders' dock is currently located north of this location and also reaching the end of its useful life.
