July 2025 and 60% Design

The City has reached the 60% design milestone for the roundabout. One major change is an updated layout, with more room for pedestrians, and bicyclists as the roundabout has shifted north. The existing multiuse path on Hartford will be extended to the bridge at 20th ST NE. One element of traffic calming will be raised crosswalks, which will slow vehicles down before they enter the roundabout, and provide easier access for pedestrians.
