The Speed Safety Program (SSP) is here to enhance traffic safety and protect our children, especially in school zones.
By utilizing automated traffic cameras, we're enforcing existing laws to discourage speeding and reduce serious collisions. Data-driven decisions have guided the placement of these cameras, focusing on areas with the highest risk for vulnerable road users.
Consistent enforcement not only changes driver behavior but also leads to safer streets for everyone. Plus, all proceeds after program costs will be reinvested into traffic safety improvements. Our goal is to create a safer environment for our kids and community!
