LAPD Southwest Community Station
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Division is dedicated to building strong community partnerships and enhancing public safety through transparency, responsiveness, and mutual respect. Anchored in a historically rich and culturally vibrant section of Los Angeles, the Southwest Community Police Station plays a key role in serving and protecting the city’s southern neighborhoods.
Southwest Division proudly serves the following communities: Baldwin Hills, Crenshaw, Jefferson Park, Leimert Park, West Adams, Vermont Square, and portions of the University Park area.
As part of LAPD’s South Bureau, Southwest Division is supported by approximately 350 sworn and civilian personnel. Our officers collaborate daily with local residents, neighborhood councils, schools, and community organizations to foster a safe and welcoming environment for all.
We invite you to make your voice heard by participating in our Resident Engagement Survey. This short, anonymous questionnaire helps us better understand your concerns, improve our community outreach, and guide station-level priorities to better reflect the values of the communities we serve.
Your voice matters. Help us continue to build trust and safety across the Southwest Area.
