LAPD 77th Street Community Station

The Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Division is deeply committed to building trust, improving safety, and strengthening community ties across South Los Angeles. As a cornerstone of public safety in one of the city’s most historically significant and resilient regions, the 77th Street Community Police Station supports a vibrant population through proactive policing, transparency, and sustained collaboration with local partners.

77th Street Division proudly serves the following neighborhoods: Chesterfield Square, Florence, Gramercy Park, Green Meadows, Harvard Park, Vermont Knolls, Vermont Vista, and Watts.

Operating under the jurisdiction of LAPD’s South Bureau, the station is staffed by over 300 sworn and civilian personnel who work closely with residents, local organizations, and community leaders to align policing strategies with neighborhood priorities. Together, we aim to foster safer, more connected communities through respect, accountability, and shared responsibility.

As part of this ongoing effort, we invite you to participate in our Resident Engagement Survey. This short, anonymous survey helps us better understand your concerns, build trust, and improve the services we provide. Your feedback directly informs station-level decisions and supports LAPD’s mission of community-first policing.

Your voice matters. Help shape the future of public safety in South Los Angeles.
