The Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division is committed to public safety, community partnership, and transparency in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. Centrally located, the Van Nuys Community Police Station serves one of the city’s most dynamic and diverse urban areas—home to thriving neighborhoods, local businesses, and civic institutions.

Van Nuys Division proudly serves the following neighborhoods: Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks (East), Valley Glen, and parts of North Hills and Panorama City.

As part of LAPD’s Valley Bureau, Van Nuys Division is staffed by dedicated sworn and civilian personnel who work hand-in-hand with residents, neighborhood councils, and local organizations to address public safety concerns with compassion and accountability.
