The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division is dedicated to promoting public safety, building trust, and fostering strong community partnerships in the heart of Central Los Angeles. Home to a dynamic mix of historic neighborhoods, cultural landmarks, and thriving local businesses, the Wilshire Community Police Station plays a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and visitors alike.
Wilshire Division proudly serves the following communities: Beverly Grove, Carthay, Fairfax, Hancock Park, Koreatown (portion), Larchmont, Mid-City, Picfair Village, and Wilshire Vista.
Operating under LAPD’s West Bureau, the division is supported by approximately 300 sworn and civilian personnel. Our officers work closely with residents, community organizations, neighborhood councils, and local businesses to create responsive, community-driven policing strategies that reflect the diverse character and priorities of our area.
