The Transit Services Bureau (TSB) of the Los Angeles Police Department works in close partnership with LA Metro to provide safety and security across Los Angeles’ bus and rail transit systems.

TSB officers are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment for Metro riders, employees, and surrounding communities. With a strong focus on visibility, deterrence, and responsiveness, our team helps protect the nearly 1.2 million daily riders who rely on Metro.

🛡️ Community Engagement & Safety
This page serves as a hub for sharing policing strategies, safety initiatives, and community engagement efforts focused on transit environments.

We believe public safety starts with public trust — and that means listening directly to those who use and live near our transit systems.
