LAPD Harbor Community Station
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division is dedicated to ensuring public safety, strengthening community connections, and promoting transparency across the city’s southernmost neighborhoods. Strategically located in San Pedro, the Harbor Community Police Station plays a vital role in safeguarding one of Los Angeles' most unique coastal regions, marked by its rich maritime heritage and strong sense of civic pride.
Harbor Division proudly serves the following neighborhoods: Harbor City, Harbor Gateway, San Pedro, Terminal Island, and Wilmington.
Part of LAPD’s South Bureau, the Harbor Division is staffed by approximately 300 sworn and civilian personnel committed to responsive, community-centered policing. Our officers partner closely with neighborhood councils, local organizations, schools, and small businesses to understand community needs and tailor public safety strategies that reflect local values.
As part of our ongoing commitment to serve and engage, we encourage you to complete our Resident Engagement Survey. This brief, anonymous survey helps us hear directly from you—on topics like safety, trust, and visibility of officers in your neighborhood. Your input helps guide our day-to-day operations and long-term priorities.
Your voice matters. Help us build a safer, stronger Harbor Area—together.
