The City of Laramie is updating its Comprehensive Plan—the long-range policy guide that will shape how our community grows and develops over the next 20 years. This plan will address land use, development, and growth to reflect community values and priorities. Over the summer, residents contributed more than 1,350 ideas through surveys, workshops, and an online social map.
From downtown vitality and safer connections to protecting nature, expanding housing options, and creating welcoming community spaces, the themes that emerged show what matters most to Laramie
We are now moving into Phase 2 of the planning process. This stage will build on your feedback and begin shaping draft strategies and priorities for Laramie’s future. Engagement will remain central—guiding how the plan balances responsible stewardship of resources, economic vitality, housing, and growth.
Your voice is essential. In the months ahead, you’ll have new opportunities to share your perspective and respond to draft ideas. Together, we can work to create an implementable vision for Laramie’s future.
