Bill Nye Avenue Corridor Study

Open House and Public Hearing Wednesday, August 22, 2018

The City and WYDOT invite you to an open house that will be held from 4:30 - 6:00 pm on Wednesday, August 22nd in City Council Chambers (City Hall, 406 Ivinson Ave.) to discuss potential modifications to Boswell Drive and future Bill Nye Avenue. A brief presentation will begin at 5:15 and the City Council will hold a public hearing on related Resolution No. 2018-19 which amends Bill Nye Avenue's alignment on the Major Street Plan.

The present Major Street Plan showed Bill Nye Avenue connecting to 3rd Street at Sanders Drive. The amendment proposed a connection at Palmer Drive. The Bill Nye West Corridor Study (found below) proposes a connection at Boswell Drive at a roundabout combined with the Westbound Interstate 80 ramps.
