Laramie's Downtown Development Plan
The City of Laramie, Downtown Development Authority (DDA), and the Laramie Main Street Alliance (LMSA) completed the updated Laramie Downtown Development Plan in 2026 to guide the future of Downtown Laramie. This plan builds on Downtown’s historic character, local businesses, arts and culture, and role as a community gathering place, while planning for growth and change over the next 20 years.
The Laramie Downtown Plan focuses on how Downtown can grow and function, with goals and strategies related to buildings, streets, public spaces, transportation, housing, economic development, and infrastructure. Check out the community input and practical action plan that outlines priorities, timelines, and responsibilities. Together, these tools help Downtown partners work collaboratively to invest in Downtown and ensure it remains a vibrant, welcoming, and resilient heart of Laramie for years to come.
