Beck and Ivey Lanes Sidewalk Project

Beck and Ivey Lanes Sidewalk Project

The Beck and Ivey Lanes Sidewalk Project will add about 9,175 feet of new concrete sidewalk in southwest Lebanon.

The sidewalk will run along Beck Lane between Ice Cream Way and Orchard Drive. It will also improve connections along Ivey Lane toward Elm Street and Nelson Park.

This project began in the City’s 2020 Sidewalk Master Plan. In 2023, the City received a Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant to help pay for the work. The grant covers 80% of eligible costs.

City Council approved the TAP agreement in November 2023 and later approved updates in March 2024. In December 2025, Council approved the purchase of materials so construction could move forward.

Bids for construction were due February 24, 2026. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2026 and finish by late 2026.

Why This Matters

• Safer walking routes for families and students
• Better access to Nelson Park & Sports Complex
• ADA-compliant sidewalks and curb ramps
• Stronger connections between neighborhoods
