A660 Leeds
Below is your regular update regarding Phase 2 and 3 of construction for A660 Otley Road, Headingley Lane and Woodhouse Lane.
Phase 2
(from Shaw Lane to Hyde Park Corner)
- This phase is now complete, after the cycle lane and pedestrian crossing at A660/St. Michael’s Road junction has been completed.
- Red route cameras will be installed in due course to enforce the red route along this section.
Phase 3
(from Hyde Park Corner to Spenceley Street)
- Work has begun here in June with letters and communications sent to residents and the public.
- General traffic is still moving in both directions using a contra-flow system.
- Construction of the contra-flow cycle lane on Cliff Road has begun
- Much of the construction works have been focused on the junctions of Cliff Road and Rampart Road.
- Works have also started at the Clarendon Road junction to upgrade the junction with new pedestrian crossings and cycle crossings.
- Construction will accelerate in a month’s time in line with the programme so expect to see more workers onsite.
Thank you for your continued patience during the works. You can contact us at any time at connectingleeds@leeds.gov.uk.
