First heritage building improvements completed

Have you noticed any of the heritage buildings recently changing across Morley? The first two shopfronts on Queen Street have recently had Morley Town Deal investment works completed.  The work includes restoring traditional shopfronts that are complementary to the newly consolidated Morley Conservation Area and bring a vacant commercial property back into use.

Read more on these properties at the link here and also on the BBC news here.

More investment on heritage shopfronts is also planned with 9 other properties working towards grant agreements to deliver further commercial space in the town centre and help restore buildings to their former glory.
