Planning application submitted for Limewood Road Industrial Estate

Following the consultation that was undertaken last year, respondents were very supportive of the proposals to construct new industrial units and improve the greenspace around the site at Limewood Road, Seacroft. In response the Council has submitted a planning application in early July for the construction of Limewood Road Industrial Units and surrounding greenspace improvements within Seacroft. A planning decision is expected on 05/10/2026 and if planning approval is achieved the project will progress into Technical Design, which will set out more cost certainty in advance of construction commencing. A final decision on whether to progress to construction is currently forecast to be made in early Spring 2027. Further updates will be published within the news section of this website.
