Driving to Leeds city centre? Use the ring road - map

The easiest way to drive to Trinity Leeds is by using the city’s ring road.

Following the transformation of City Square and some of the roads in the city centre, using the ring road is usually an easier option than driving through the city centre as previous routes are likely to have changed and in some instances may now be closed to private vehicles.

If you are travelling from the east or south of the city, we would recommend using Junction 4 of the M621. From Junction4, follow the A61. Keep in the centre lane to go onto the flyover, keep left to join East Street. Where the road splits, keep in the left hand lane to bear left signed City Centre A61 and then use the middle lane to go onto Kirkgate, High Court, The Calls, Call Lane and then Sovereign Street. From here, follow signs for car parks.

If you are travelling from the A64(M) westbound, leave the A64(M) onto Marsh Lane and follow it as it turns right at the traffic lights onto the A61and then East Street. Follow East Street onto Kirkgate, High Court, The Calls, Call Lane and then Sovereign Street. From here, follow signs for car parks.

You can also use Junction 3 of the M621, following the A653 towards the city centre as it joins Meadow Road and then Victoria Road, crossing Victoria Bridge on Neville Street and then turning right onto Sovereign Street. Turn left onto Swinegate and follow signs for car parks.

Trinity Leeds offer their own advice on how to travel to their car park on their website. You can also use online maps such as Google Maps and Waze.
