Leeds needs trees!

In 2019, Leeds declared a climate emergency. To combat this, we are planting millions of trees over 25 years.

Consultation is now closed for Woodland Creation sites to be considered for 2026/27 planting.

Click on your local area on the navigational map, or use the tiles below to see what is proposed in your area.

If you are interested in getting involved in tree planting email: woodlandcreation@leeds.gov.uk or subscribe to our monthly updates.
