Morley Town Hall to close for start of refurbishment works at the end of 2024

As part of the £24.3m Morley Town Deal investment programme, funded by the UK Government, Morley Town Hall is shortly closing for improvements from 31st December 2024. All existing groups/users of the Town Hall have been informed and a decant of the building is now currently taking place. 

The new improvements, which meet the expectations for a grade-I listed building, will include the addition of a new café and bar, improvements to the theatrical experience in the Alexandra Hall, and improvements in building accessibility.

The newly refurbished Town Hall will reopen to the public in Spring/Summer 2026.
