A660 Leeds
Below is your regular update regarding Phase 3 of construction for A660 Woodhouse Lane.
Street lighting survey
- Results from the street lighting survey are currently being analysed and will be discussed with your local councillors.
Phase 3
(from Hyde Park Corner to Spenceley Street)
- The scheme is progressing well and is due to be complete to programme by Spring 2027
- Cliff Road junction has seen large areas of York Stone paving being re-laid
- The new cycle lane on the north-eastern side of Woodhouse Lane (near to Cinder Moor) is around 70% complete with work progressing well
- Works have started around the Clarendon Road junction with large amounts of York Stone paving laid, alongside some of the planting beds for the new public realm area
- The next part of construction has seen the introduction of the left-turn restriction from Clarendon Road onto Woodhouse Lane. This is to facilitate a more efficient junction, with improved safety for pedestrians and cyclists. Diversion signage is in place, although this restriction is permanent and will not be removed following completion of the scheme. The recommended diversion route is shown below:
