We're writing you to let you know the planned timeline of construction at Lawnswood Roundabout.

In preparation of this, could you please spare five minutes to fill in a short SURVEY about your travel habits through the junction. We'll use your responses to understand how we can serve you better during construction and as a thank you, you'll be entered into a prize draw for a £50 High Street shopping voucher.

SURVEY

The Lawnswood Roundabout scheme seeks to improve safety for all users by introducing traffic signal controls, and make walking and cycling more attractive by creating crossings and segregated cycle tracks.

The design of the scheme is now complete, and the main contractor is expected to begin the main works in mid-2025, with completion in autumn 2026.  

In advance of this, some enabling works have started and will last approximately four months. This will predominantly consist of utility diversions and some landscaping/site clearance works.
