Leeds community trails

We're working with communities in Burmantofts, Harehills and Richmond Hill to create three new trails for walking, wheeling and cycling to local places.

Each trail will be a fun, themed route for everyone to enjoy - no matter your age or ability.

We've already spoken with different communities but we'd like even more feedback to make sure the trails work for everyone.

To have your say, choose your local area below.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Leeds City Council’s ‘Walk It, Ride It’ team are working with local communities to develop three new trails for walking, wheeling and cycling in Burmantofts, Harehills and Richmond Hill.

Each trail will have fun, themed routes for all ages and abilities to enjoy. They will be signposted to make it easy for you to get from A to B and enjoy getting outside in your local area.

The trails will be accessible all year round, with temporary activities, pop-ups and events inspired by you and the local community. This will include working with local groups, schools and communities. Alongside this, we will also be designing small spaces for murals, artwork, greenery, and benches for people to sit and rest.

The council has worked closely with community groups to develop ideas for the trails, and we would now like to know your thoughts on the designs and hear your stories about your local area.
