Leeds were successful in their bid to the Towns Fund and were awarded £24.3 million to deliver on key Morley priorities outlined in their Town Investment Plan including jobs, skills, green infrastructure and bringing cherished buildings back into use.  The Town Investment Plan can be found here.

In 2022, the Council developed very strong business cases and following approval by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government are now entering the design and delivery phases. Further information and guidance about the Towns Fund is available from gov.uk

Have your say

We know that it’s important that as many people as possible, whether they live in Morley, work there, or just like to visit, get a chance to have their say on Morley's future. For this reason with have created this dedicated community engagement site.

Between now and the end of the fund we will use this site to distribute news about new developments but crucially this will be a platform for ongoing consultation with the people of Morley. We will therefore be launching new engagement opportunities from this site and providing opportunities for you to continue to have your say about the detail of the projects as they develop.

To maximise the effectiveness of this site we are encouraging you to share the link to this site with your family, neighbours, and friends.
