Morley heritage shining in the Spring sunshine

Work to historic buildings across the Morley Conservation Area is moving at pace as part of the ongoing Heritage Investment Funding. The newly refurbished Grade II listed St Peter’s Community Centre will open in May 2026 after receiving part funding from the Morley Town Deal.

At Morley Bottoms work on five shopfronts on Brunswick Street and Chapel Hill has revealed some historic signage from Morley’s past.

Work to a vacant property on Queen Street has also begun, building on the successful heritage-led regeneration of the neighbouring 31 and 33 Queen Street.
