First Direct Arena

Driving to the First Direct Arena using the city's ring road

Transforming our City Centre

Driving to the First Direct Arena

The easiest way to drive to the First Direct Arena is by using the city’s ring road. The arena itself does not have its own car park but there are plenty of car parks in the area, many of which can be easily accessed by following our directions.

From the M621 you can either use Junction 4 or Junction 2 and then loop around the city centre.

This is usually easier than using Junction 3 and driving through the city centre, as previous routes are likely to have changed and in some instances may now be closed to private vehicles.

From M621 Junction 2 - follow the A643 before joining the A58(M) Inner Ring Road. Continue on the A58(M) and exit following signs for First Direct Arena.

This route is shown as a purple line on the map below.

From M621 Junction 4 - follow the A61 and use the right-hand lanes to move onto East Street and then Marsh Lane before joining the A64(M) ring road westbound. Exit the A64(M) as directed by permanent signage to the First Direct Arena.

This route is shown as the an orange line at the bottom of the map below.

Motorists travelling from the A64(M) westbound should also exit as directed by permanent signage to the First Direct Arena.

This route is shown as the an orange line at the top of the map below.

The First Direct Arena provides advice on travelling to their venue on their website. You can also use online maps such as Google Maps and Waze.
