Get Involved with the Heritage Action Zone

Find out how to get involved with the New Briggate High Street Heritage Action Zone

During the project there will be lots of events and activities taking place on New Briggate and in the surrounding area and all are welcome to join us. We've just finished our series of summer walking tours and our Heritage Skills Festival, and we're planning future events. Keep checking back as this page will be regularly updated.

Tell us your stories of New Briggate!

East Street Arts are leading a Cultural Consorta of organisations based around New Briggate to explore the culture and heritage of New Briggate, so that its story is not lost, its users can still connect with it, and people's stories are told.

We want to gather stories of peoples histories and experiences on the street and we would be delighted to hear from you.
