The images below show the critical repair works carried out on the Stanningley Bypass, a vital link between Dawsons Corner and the A647 in Armley. Constructed over 50 years ago, the bypass has experienced joint failures, leading to safety concerns, network disruptions, and additional costs.

To minimise impact on traffic, these essential repairs are scheduled during school holidays, ensuring improved safety and reliability along this key section of the Outer Ring Road. These improvements will help reduce congestion, enhance journey time reliability, and support future growth in the region.
