Transforming our City Centre

Driving to Headingley Stadiums

If you’re coming to Leeds to watch the cricket or rugby, the easiest way to drive to the Headingley stadiums is by using the city’s ring road.

This is usually easier than driving through the city centre, as previous routes are likely to have changed and in some instances may now be closed to private vehicles.

From the M62 travelling east, leave the M62 at Junction 27 and follow the M621 as far as Junction 2.

Leave the M621 at Junction 2 and follow the signs for Headingley stadium along the A643. These signs will lead you along the Leeds Inner Ring Road A58 to the A660, which is signposted to Skipton and Headingley Stadium.

Signs along this road will indicate you have reached the Headingley area.

Car parking at and around Headingley Stadiums is limited. On test match and one day international days, additional temporary signage will direct you to the Park & Ride car park north of Headingley at Beckett Park (LS6 3PW).

From the M62 travelling west, leave the M62 at Junction 29 and follow the M1 North briefly before moving into the right-hand lanes and join the M621. Follow the M621 as far as Junction 4.

Leave the M621 at Junction 4 and follow the A61, using the right-hand lanes to move onto East Street and and then Marsh Lane before joining the A64(M) ring road westbound.

Take the A660 exit towards Skipton / Hospital, and keep right to continue towards Woodhouse Lane / A660.

If you are travelling from the A64, follow the A64 until it becomes the ring road westbound, and then use the above instructions.
