Housing Leeds Feedback
The Tenant Scrutiny Board (TSB) work with Housing Leeds, independently carrying out reviews into parts of our service. They look at information about how we are performing, and gather additional evidence from tenants, staff and others to help them identity and make recommendations for improvements.
The TSB are made up of 12 tenant volunteers (one can be a leaseholder), and they meet roughly twice a month to carry out their work. They will also ask members of the Tenant Voice Panel, and tenants more widely, to input into reviews.

- 14 January 2027
- 28 January 2027
Meetings are at 4.00pm to 6.30pm, with board members meeting in person at Merrion House in Leeds City Centre, or by joining online using MS Teams.
At the end of April, the Board published their latest report about the training and support we give to new Housing Officers. You can read the report below.
In July, the Board agreed to carry out a special joint piece of work with Housing Leeds about Social Housing Stigma. Together we will shortly be seeking views from a wide range of tenants, staff and others to help us identify where stigma may exist and to put in place our first Social Housing Stigma Action Plan. We will be promoting more about this after the summer break.
Interested in getting involved?
Any tenant of Housing Leeds can express an interest in becoming a member of the Tenant Scrutiny Board. Members are expected to:
- attend training sessions when necessary
- work independently and as part of a team
- understand and analyse reports and information
- prepare for meetings and read paperwork to understand the issues under review
- take part in meeting discussions, expressing views clearly and objectively

We currently have 1 vacancy on the board, and we are particularly interested to hear from ethnically diverse tenants and younger tenants so that the board benefits from a broad range of views and experiences.
